Unit TWo, Part One: Research

Objective: Students will learn key terms associated with the experimental approach, as well as review various types of research methods and their advantages/disadvantages. 
​

1. Type your correlation data into Excel. Write down on your correlation chart what your correlation coefficient was, as well as a brief explanation (positive or negative? weak or strong? relation or no relation?)
2. Complete notes on research methods using the PowerPoint below.
3. Complete the review targets below with 3 misses or fewer (20 points). 
4. Complete the vocabulary quiz with 80% or higher. You may remove the written questions (10 points). 
5. After watching the video on the placebo effect in class, answer on the padlet whether or not you believe it is an ethical practice. Click HERE for padlet.
